Play with Veer is a free educational website for children aged 6–9. We take children's privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect (very little), how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

• ✓We do NOT require accounts or registration.
• ✓We do NOT collect names, email addresses, or any personal information from children.
• ✓We may use anonymous, aggregate analytics (e.g. page view counts) to improve the site.
• ✓Our analytics do not use fingerprinting or cross-site tracking.

Cookies

We use a single theme cookie stored in localStorage to remember your light/dark mode preference. This contains no personal data and is never sent to our servers.

Advertising

Play with Veer may display advertisements to help keep the site free. Any advertising is age-appropriate, clearly labelled, and non-targeted (we do not allow behavioural ad targeting on children's content). We comply with COPPA and UK ICO guidance on children's online privacy.

Third-Party Services

The site is hosted on Netlify. Their servers may log standard request metadata (IP address, browser type) for security purposes. Please see Netlify's Privacy Policy for details.

Children's Privacy (COPPA / UK GDPR)

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Your Rights

Under GDPR and UK data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Since we collect almost no personal data, these rights rarely apply — but please contact us if you have any concerns.
